Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hulk Hogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ira Stein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Hogan might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Real American. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
53 - 27 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hulk Hogan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 20 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ira Stein! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hogan moves out of range of the body kick. Stein pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Stein throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Hogan moves out of range as Stein strikes. Stein misses with a hook
and Hogan cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Hogan uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Stein. Stein misses with a straight left. Stein lands a jab-cross combination.
It looks like Hulk Hogan has been cut. Stein tries to bum rush Hogan with a series of wild strikes but Hogan uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sloppy strikes from Stein. Those never looked like landing. Hogan looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Stein ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hogan moves away. Stein throws a lazy uppercut
and Hogan counters by moving into the clinch. Stein blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Hogan lands a body punch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stein wants to get back to striking at distance but Hogan won't allow it.
Hogan lands with a right to the head. Stein is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Hogan gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Stein drops down looking for an ankle pick but Hogan pulls his leg out and moves away.
Stein rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Hogan holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Hogan working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Stein is looking to take this one to the mat. Hulk Hogan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ira Stein. A quick uppercut on the inside from Hogan. Hogan lands on the inside with an uppercut. Hogan lands a shoulder strike. Hogan lands a body punch in the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hogan lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Stein backwards. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hogan lands a hook that snaps the head of Stein backwards. A nice left hand lands by Hogan.
Hogan lands a shoulder strike. A frustrated look appears on Stein's face as he tries to break the clinch. Hogan lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Hogan throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Hogan lands a body punch in the clinch. Hogan works on Stein's body with a couple of short punches. Stein looks winded! Hogan works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Hogan gets through Stein's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hogan lands with a short shot to the head. Hogan scores with a nice hook to the head. Stein wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Hogan lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Stein to his knees! Hogan keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hulk Hogan! In his post fight interview, Hulk Hogan started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
