Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John McGuirk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boby Beans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John McGuirk! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Boby Beans! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beans connects with the punch. McGuirk throws a head kick but Beans moves out of range.
Boby Beans seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Beans misses with the combination.
McGuirk missing with a left hand there. Beans was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. McGuirk shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Beans misses with a wild body shot. Beans thuds his right hand into McGuirk's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Beans scores with a hook to the body. McGuirk takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! McGuirk moves into the clinch successfully.
Beans tries a body shot but McGuirk blocks it.
Beans keeps control of McGuirk as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. McGuirk wants a takedown but no success here.
McGuirk breaks the clinch.
McGuirk is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Beans ducks under a wild hook from McGuirk. Beans avoids the head kick by McGuirk.
That's one minute gone in the round. A shot to the body from Beans misses and McGuirk counters with a low kick, right behind Beans 's knee. Beans lands a straight punch to the body, keeping McGuirk at a distance.
A big left from Beans misses. McGuirk looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. McGuirk takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. McGuirk misses with a two punch combination.
Beans's coach down at *Nelson Fight Camp* was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Beans's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. McGuirk misses with a looping left. Nice straight punches there by Beans. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Beans. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Beans lands a jab to the nose. McGuirk lands a body shot.
Beans throws a hook but McGuirk blocks it. McGuirk goes for a double leg but Beans avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Beans continues to drive forward. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John McGuirk. That's going to take a lot out of him. A head punch on the inside from Beans fails to land. McGuirk has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Beans avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Beans can't find room to land a body shot as McGuirk controls the action.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Beans misses with some punches.
Beans works on McGuirk's body with a couple of short punches. Beans lands a body shot in the clinch.
McGuirk is breathing heavily. A short uppercut from Beans. Beans lands a nice shot to the body. Beans pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Beans has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Beans Throws a clean left jab. Beans Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with McGuirk's chin! McGuirk crumbles to the ground and Beans follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Beans!
