Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Francis Inzaghi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kel Varnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Inzaghi comes to the cage accompanied by Kanye West - Jesus Walks. Kel Varnson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Inzaghi thows a body shot but no joy.
Inzaghi bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Inzaghi takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
It looks like Kel Varnson has been cut.
Varnson lands a slapping body shot.
Inzaghi ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Varnson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Left hook, right uppercut from Varnson.
It looks like Francis Inzaghi has been cut.

Varnson throws out a powerful jab.
Inzaghi connects with a looping right hand.

and Varnson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Inzaghi lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Inzaghi avoids the head kick by Varnson.

Inzaghi keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
A looping hook to the body misses from Varnson. Inzaghi does a little dance to reset his feet.
Inzaghi throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Varnson sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Varnson rushes Inzaghi and presses him up against the cage.
Varnson tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Inzaghi's elbow.

That has opened up Kel Varnson's cut even more.

Varnson lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Inzaghi pushes Varnson back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Inzaghi drops Varnson onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Varnson is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Varnson is rocked!
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Inzaghi as Varnson tries to tie him up.
Varnson is still on wobbly legs! Can Inzaghi finish him?
Inzaghi is pushing Varnson up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Francis Inzaghi.
Inzaghi lands a leg kick that knocks Varnson off balance momentarily.
Varnson seems to have recovered his senses.
Varnson tries to clinch up but Inzaghi circles away and keeps his distance.

Varnson takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Varnson takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
An inside leg kick lands from Inzaghi.
Varnson throws a chopping leg kick but Inzaghi manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Varnson moves out of range of the strikes.
Inzaghi is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Varnson.
Inzaghi misses with a hook.
Inzaghi lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Inzaghi lands a big right hand that sends Varnson crashing to the mat! Inzaghi stays standing though and waves Varnson back to his feet!
Kel Varnson's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Kel Varnson's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Francis Inzaghi!
