Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Paul Bourque (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fabricio Camoes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Camoes comes into a darkened arena with his song building. One Love by BLUE kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
34 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Paul Bourque! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Fabricio Camoes! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Mauricio Rocha and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Camoes looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bourque is fending him off so far but Camoes persists. Nope, Bourque circles away and we're back to standing. Bourque fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Camoes tries to bum rush Bourque with a series of wild strikes but Bourque uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Bourque ducks right into an uppercut from Camoes. Camoes tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bourque was well out of range. Poor timing from Camoes. Camoes throws a shot from downtown. Bourque moves away and avoids it. Camoes shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Bourque is trying to defend but Camoes finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Bourque tries to roll over but Camoes keeps him under control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Camoes looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Camoes is working for a submission of some sort.

That's one minute gone in the round. Camoes trying to mount his opponent but Bourque defends it. Camoes lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Bourque avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Camoes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Camoes wants to work for an arm triangle but Bourque is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Bourque is looking for a sweep. Camoes is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Camoes missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Bourque will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Camoes is looking to work some ground and pound but Bourque has wrist control. Camoes throws a strike but Bourque rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Camoes is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Camoes has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Camoes manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Bourque wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Camoes.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bourque is in all sorts of trouble here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fabricio Camoes dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

and Bourque makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Camoes misses with a series of wild punches.
Camoes misses with a left hand and Bourque counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Camoes misses with a looping right. Camoes connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Bourque momentarily.

Camoes shoots in for a takedown but Bourque shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Camoes throws a right and a left that Bourque avoids nicely. Fabricio Camoes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Camoes thows a left - swing and a miss! Camoes looks to land a right hand but Bourque moved out of range. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Camoes. Paul Bourque is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Camoes is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bourque lands with a nice body punch. Bourque blocks a jab. Bourque keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Bourque connects with a looping right hand.
Camoes pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Bourque stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Camoes is rocked! Camoes might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. A left lands for Camoes. Camoes is still on wobbly legs! Can Bourque finish him? Camoes misses with a wild combination.
Bourque with a body punch. A glancing blow. Camoes seems to have recovered his senses. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bourque digs a good hook to Camoes's body.
Nice straight punches there by Bourque. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Bourque. Camoes gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Bourque gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Camoes is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Paul Bourque! A very excited looking Paul Bourque made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
