Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johnny Boy!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boy fails with a takedown attempt.
Benser keeps Boy at a distance using the push kick.
Boy gets a takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Boy prevents Benser from improving his position.
Benser won't allow Boy to pass to mount.
Boy throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Benser is trying to stand up here but Boy is controlling him well.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Boy lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Boy works his foot free and advances to mount.
Boy with the ground and pound from mount.
Boy postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Benser looks a forlorn figure.

Benser is working to get back to half guard.
Boy lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Boy scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Benser?
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Boy with a couple of short strikes.
It looks like Mage Benser has been cut.
Boy punishing his opponent with strikes.
Benser is looking to get to half guard.
Boy connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Boy working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Benser knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Boy on the ground.
Boy takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Boy is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Boy with a couple of short strikes.
Boy lands with some strikes.
Mage Benser's cut is getting worse.
Boy has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Benser is breathing heavily.

Boy working for a submission but Benser is keeping him at bay.

The referee warns Benser that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Mage Benser's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Mage Benser's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
