The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

lamotta scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
lamotta laying and praying for a moment but bombo takes advantage and regains half guard.
bombo blocking the ground and pound attempt from lamotta.
lamotta moves nicely into side control.
You can see the frustration on bombo's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
bombo is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
bombo is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but lamotta has just dragged him back down to the mat.

lamotta working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
lamotta prevents bombo from escaping the position.
bombo wants to control but lamotta postures up.
bombo sneaks back into half guard.

bombo is looking to control lamotta's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can bombo avoid being mounted?
bombo tries to roll over but lamotta keeps him under control.

lamotta decides to stand up.

lamotta drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
lamotta tries to advance to mount but can't.

lamotta looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

bombo is not content to let lamotta control the position.
bombo manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

lamotta is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
lamotta working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on bombo's thigh. bombo counters though and makes it back to full guard.

lamotta is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! bombo is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! bombo has escaped and now he's on top!

bombo wants to control from the top but lamotta keeps moving.

lamotta has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think bombo should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, lamotta has tightened it up now! bombo should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
