The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stone throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Smith keeps the fight on the outside.
Stone tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Smith counters with a one-two to the body.
Stone connects with a body shot that sends Smith's belly button to the back.
Stone moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Stone scores with a spinning back kick!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Stone tries to clinch up
and Smith counters with a two punch combo.
Smith takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Stone rushes Smith and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
Smith has had enough of the clinch but Stone keeps him there for the moment.
Stone scores with a knee to the head.
Stone throws a knee to the head but misses.
Smith wants to get back to striking at distance but Stone won't allow it.
Smith breaks the clinch.
Stone tries to close the distance and clinch up but Smith swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Smith keeps the fight on the outside.
Stone is looking to clinch but Smith is avoiding it.
Stone throws a series of punches but Smith moves out of range.
Smith takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Smith lands a slapping body shot.
Stone slips a jab from Smith.
Stone throws a sloppy body shot
and Smith connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Stone lands a left and a right that send Smith crashing to the mat, dazed. Stone thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Smith is rocked!

Smith fails to land with a series of punches.

Stone lands a high kick!
Smith throws a hook but Stone avoids it easily.
Smith slips a jab and a cross from Stone.
Stone fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Smith to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Smith looks to clinch but Stone throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Smith taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

After winning the bout, Chris Stone thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
