Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Clay Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ciaran Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diaz kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is I'm a Souljah. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The fight stays on the outside here - Anderson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Diaz feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Anderson has his foot on Diaz's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Diaz works his way back into a safe position though.

Anderson had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Diaz is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Anderson Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Diaz's back instead.
Anderson has his arm under Diaz's chin here. Game over son! Anderson squeezes tightly and Diaz is forced to tap out!
