Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between TJ Cage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jan Jansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cage comes to the cage accompanied by Get shaky. Jan Jansen struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 186.7lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, TJ Cage! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Jan Jansen! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Colin Fotheringham and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cage tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jansen paws at him with a jab and circles away. Jansen tries to clinch up and Cage counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Cage is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Jansen doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Cage. Cage is looking for a kimura here.
Cage wants to stand up but Jansen is controlling the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cage is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Jansen defends it well. Cage not landing any meaningful shots this time. Cage tries to stand but can't do so whilst Jansen controls his leg.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Cage throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Cage seems to be working for a kimura but Jansen defends the submission attempt. Cage is breathing heavily.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Jansen fails with an attempt to clinch.
Jan Jansen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cage swats away the attempt to clinch by Jansen. Cage takes a kick to the side of the head. Jansen clinches up with Cage and pushes him back against the cage. Jansen lands a nice elbow. Jansen looking to throw knees to the head but Cage is blocking nicely.

Jansen manages to break the clinch.
Cage throws a push kick but Jansen slaps the foot to one side.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jansen gets in close and instigates a clinch. Jansen lands a knee to the head.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Jansen checks a leg kick. Jansen scores with a kick to the body.

Jansen clinches but Cage breaks the clinch and Cage counters with a takedown into side control. Cage misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Cage has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Cage looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Cage not landing any meaningful shots this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jansen avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Cage. Cage thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Cage moves nicely into side control. Cage throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Jansen prevents Cage from improving position. Jansen is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Cage is controlling him well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
TJ Cage dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Cage throws a right and a left that both miss. Cage looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Jansen buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Jansen. Jansen doesn't manage to clinch there - Cage circles away.
Horrible takedown by Cage or perhaps it was just good defense by Jansen which made him look bad. Jansen with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Cage tries to keep at a distance but Jansen has taken the fight into the clinch. Cage drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Jansen gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for TJ Cage. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jansen lands a damaging elbow. Jansen on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Cage has Jansen pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Jansen manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Jansen misses with a knee strike.
Cage wants a takedown but no success here.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Jansen connects with a knee to the head.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jansen lands a knee to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cage tries to pull guard but Jansen won't allow it.

Jansen breaks the clinch.
Jansen stuffs the takedown attempt from Cage. Cage gets slowly back to his feet. A combination from Jansen does no damage. Cage stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Jansen. Jansen lands with a slapping head kick. Cage instigates a clinch. Jansen tries to break the clinch but Cage is controlling the position. Cage breaks from the clinch.
TJ Cage is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Cage closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jansen circles away. Jansen clinches. Cage goes for a takedown attempt but Jansen pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Jan Jansen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Cage closes the distance and lands a one-two. Cage shoots in for a takedown and gets it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Cage takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cage gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Cage doesn't manage to clinch there - Jansen circles away.
Cage has taken the fight to the clinch.
Jansen misses with a knee strike.
Jansen wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Cage lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Jansen backwards. Cage tries to pull guard but Jansen won't allow it.
Cage pulls Jansen into guard.
Cage is looking for a triangle but Jansen pushes his legs off easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cage manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jansen manages to get himself to full guard.
Cage wants to pass the guard but Jansen is keeping the position. Jansen wants to get back to his feet but Cage is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Cage is pushing down on Jansen's leg trying to pass to half guard. Jansen is fighting to maintain full guard but Cage has managed to sneak the leg through.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Cage escapes and gets back to his feet. Cage throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Jansen keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Jansen wants to clinch so Cage counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Jansen keeping full guard, as Cage tries to pass. Cage stands and steps away. Jansen gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jansen moves into range and clinches up with Cage. Jansen missing with knees to the body.
Cage tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Jansen just stands there and leans against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that TJ Cage will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Jansen keeps the fight on the outside. Jansen wants to clinch so Cage counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Jansen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cage. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Jansen is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Cage passes Jansen's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Cage is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

That's one minute gone in the round. Jansen makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Jansen throws a shot to the body.

Cage makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cage postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cage drops back, looking for a kneebar! Jansen looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Jansen looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Jansen! Jansen gets to mount! Cage was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Cage regains half guard. Cage wants to get back to full guard but Jansen has passed into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jansen looking to control and managing it successfully. Cage is in all sorts of trouble here.

Cage has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Cage bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Cage decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Jan Jansen has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Cage checks a low kick from Jansen.
And that's the end of the fight! TJ Cage showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Cage, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
