Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Gegardio Musasio!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Johnny Hayl!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Ryoma Takatsuka and Micheangelo Fripello.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Musasio swinging wildly here.
Musasio tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Hayl counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Musasio!
Hayl is landing with some decent strikes but Musasio is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Hayl pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Hayl won't let Musasio get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Poor strikes thrown by Hayl there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Musasio manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Hayl really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Musasio. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Hayl is looking to take a break and control but Musasio is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Hayl slows the pace down in half guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Johnny Hayl was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Musasio misses with a two punch combination.

Musasio looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Hayl!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Hayl has given up his back.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Musasio has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Hayl is in real trouble here. Musasio gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Hayl is tapping out! Musasio wins by rear naked choke!
