Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jim Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuri Boyka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yuri Boyka will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jim Johnson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yuri Boyka!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boyka tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Johnson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Boyka sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Johnson somewhat.

Boyka keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Boyka's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Johnson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Boyka is pushing off trying to get to his feet. Johnson has hold of the leg though and he's dropped back for a heel hook� has he got it?? YES! Boyka is tapping! This fight is all over!
