Son comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Deftones- Be quiet and drive kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chang Sun Son!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Son throws a leg kick
and Fertus counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Son thinking.
Son lands the left hand.
Son throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Fertus counters with a nice uppercut.
Chang Sun Son seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Son throws a series of punches but Fertus avoids them all with ease.
Son misses with a double jab.
Fertus slips a jab from Son.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Son throws a hook but Fertus avoids it easily.
Son throws a nice looking combination but Fertus bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Son misses with a hook
and Fertus counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Son just misses with a punch to the body.
Fertus on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Son looks to land a combination. Fertus sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Fertus blocks a head kick by Son.
Son fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Fertus on the side of the head.
Son looks to land a left hand but Fertus moved out of range nicely.
Son blocks a head kick by Fertus.
No joy there for Son, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Son connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Fertus! He's out on his feet! Son rushes in and drops Fertus with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Chang Sun Son!
