Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nick White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dante Rose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Mauricio Rocha and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rose instigates a clinch.
Rose breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
White fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Rose avoids it really well and circles away.
No luck for Rose with that takedown attempt.
Rose tries to clinch up but White circles away and keeps his distance.
Rose misses with a few strikes there.
Rose displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from White.

Rose changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. White tries to avoid it but Rose manages to keep hold of a leg and drag White to the ground. White escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

White shoots in looking for a takedown. Rose tries to sprawl out of it but White keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rose manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

White has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Rose is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for White.

Rose postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Rose lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Rose.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
White shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Rose as he avoids it easily.
Rose moves into the clinch successfully.

White wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Rose is now in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rose throws some wild stikes that White manages to avoid easily.

Rose is going oldschool here, as he tries to force White to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so White shrugs it off.

Rose has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics White uses from the top position.

Dante Rose comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Rose has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
