Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between War MachineOne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mauricio Shogun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Edson Gomes and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shogun lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Shogun tries to close the distance and clinch up but MachineOne swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A big left from MachineOne misses.
Shogun walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Shogun fails in his attempt to clinch.
MachineOne circles away from the clinch attempt
and MachineOne counters with a low kick, right behind Shogun 's knee.
Shogun throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Shogun is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Shogun tries to close the distance and clinch but MachineOne swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Shogun misses with a low kick.
Shogun tries to clinch up but MachineOne circles away and keeps his distance.
Shogun tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
MachineOne connects with a nice looking jab.
MachineOne smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Shogun tries to clinch up.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Shogun has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from MachineOne.
MachineOne connects with a leg kick. Shogun looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
MachineOne feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Shoguns jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Shogun tries to clinch up
enabling MachineOne to counter with a crisp jab.
MachineOne circles away from the clinch attempt.
Shogun tries to clinch but MachineOne is having none of it.
The fighters circle momentarily. MachineOne darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Shogun wants to clinch
and Shogun takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Shogun is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Shogun closes the distance but MachineOne moves to the side
and MachineOne counters with a crisp right that sends Shogun to the canvas! MachineOne follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). War MachineOne!
