Robinson's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Lost In Space. Alves has chosen HU - Up in Smoke as his entrance music. Will Robinson had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Emerson Jorge and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves misses with a head kick.
Alves fails to land with a series of punches.
Alves throws a sloppy head kick and Robinson moves out of range easily.
Alves misses with a body shot.
Alves tries to sprawl but Robinson drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Robinson not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Robinson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Robinson throwing shots but Alves is blocking nicely.
Alves tries to get to full guard but Robinson has control of the leg.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Robinson connects with a nice short shot to Alves's temple.

Robinson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Alves does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Alves misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Alves throws a hook to the side of Robinson's head but Robinson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Robinson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Robinson looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Robinson lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Alves! More strikes land and this one is all over! Robinson jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
