Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mega Boes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Matt Hall!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Hall misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hall lands a nice leg kick that just misses Boes's sensitive parts.
Hall lands a head kick!
That kick from Hall tenderised Boes's leg. Boes is trying to keep his angry face on.
Hall fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Boes looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Hall lands a jab to the head.
Hall throws a head kick that half lands.
It looks like Mega Boes has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hall throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Hall fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Hall throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Boes is rocked!
Boes avoids the head kick by Hall.
Oh Boes is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hall throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Boes seems to have got his legs back now.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hall throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Hall throws a shot to the body.
Hall smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Boes on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Hall scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
A solid leg kick lands there for Hall.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Boes.
Hall scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Hall buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
A cross from Hall lands.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Boes shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hall sprawls well. Hall wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Boes gets slowly back to his feet.
Boes is breathing heavily.
Hall scores with a head kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hall lands a brutal head kick. Boes looks out on his feet and Hall throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick and Punches). Matt Hall!
Matt Hall very nearly forgot to thank Ultra Fight Gear amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
