Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tinker Evers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henry Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Evers comes to the cage accompanied by Call Me from Shinedown. Henry Davis will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tinker Evers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Henry Davis!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Yves DeLean and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Evers decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Davis's guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Evers wants to pass the guard but Davis is keeping the position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Davis can do anything to dispel that myth.
Evers trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Evers throws a big elbow that misses.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Evers accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Davis drops back, looking for a kneebar! Evers looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Evers looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Evers!
Evers sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Davis is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Evers goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Davis rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Evers's guard! Nice work there by Davis!
Evers might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Davis stands up from Evers's guard - Davis perhaps looking for a knockout.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Davis shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Davis showed some decent athleticism there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Evers shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Davis's guard.
Evers won't allow Davis to sweep him here.
Davis wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Davis manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Evers manages to get himself to full guard.

It looks like Tinker Evers has been cut.
Evers tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Davis manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Henry Davis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Evers closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Davis to the mat! Davis manages to get full guard.

and Evers counters by moving into the clinch.
Davis is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Davis is trying to pull guard but Evers has him pressed against the cage.
Tinker Evers has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Henry Davis.
Evers tries to land knees in the clinch but Davis avoids the damage to the body.

Davis regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Evers.

Tinker Evers overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Evers is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Davis manages to get to full guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Evers is looking for a kimura but Davis is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Evers to get the leverage.
Evers misses with a head shot. Davis uses the momentum to regain guard.

Evers drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Davis manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Evers has Davis in his guard.

Davis gets to his feet. Evers looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Evers breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Tinker Evers is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Evers looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Davis!
Evers tries to advance to mount but Davis instead regains half guard.
Evers is looking to stall here but Davis recovers full guard.
Henry Davis has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Evers advances to half guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
Tinker Evers showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Evers, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
