Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mathek Krol!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, John McQueen!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Ian Loll and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Excellent takedown into side control there by McQueen.
McQueen tries to move into full mount but can't pass Krol's legs.
Krol tries to bench press McQueen off him but McQueen keeps the position.
Krol really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
McQueen tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
McQueen goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Krol rolls with the submission and now he's on top in McQueen's guard! Nice work there by Krol!
Krol postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! McQueen is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Krol, into his guard.
McQueen got a little sloppy there for a moment and Krol has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, McQueen has managed to get both his arms back between Krol's legs - danger averted.

McQueen tries to free his leg and advance position but Krol is retaining full guard.
McQueen works a leg free and moves into half guard.
McQueen wants to lay and pray for a moment but Krol keeps working.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McQueen is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
McQueen is working for a submission of some sort.
McQueen wants to free his trapped foot but Krol is holding on for dear life with his legs.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McQueen moves into full mount! Krol won't be happy about that!

McQueen goes for an armbar but Krol turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Krol.
Krol is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! McQueen is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! McQueen has escaped and now he's on top!

Krol is looking for a sweep.

McQueen is trying to take his opponent's back.
Krol bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Krol drops back, looking for a kneebar! McQueen looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. McQueen looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from McQueen!
McQueen is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Krol knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

McQueen advances to full mount.
Krol can't escape the position.
McQueen can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Krol is looking to escape.
McQueen goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Krol is on top in guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
McQueen pushes Krol off and scrambles back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

McQueen wants to control from the top but Krol keeps moving.

McQueen sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Krol's guard.
John McQueen has got the better of the ground game so far.

McQueen advances to full mount.

Krol sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

McQueen moves into full mount! Krol won't be happy about that!
McQueen with some aggressive grappling here, looking for the finish.
McQueen trying to control but Krol is having none of it.

Krol is looking to improve his position but McQueen isn't that keen on the idea.

McQueen patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here?
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
McQueen is cranking Krol's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Krol! He's tightened the choke and Krol is tapping out!
