The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Anni Minnemäki and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kruger connects with a nice looking jab.
Backscratcher throws a leg kick
and Kruger counters with a straight right hand.
Backscratcher bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Backscratcher throws a series of punches but Kruger moves out of range.
Kruger lands a right hook to the body.
A jab from Kruger misses.
Kruger shoots in and drives through. Backscratcher sprawls well.
Kruger ducks under a wild hook from Backscratcher.
Kruger uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Kruger bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Kruger misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kruger cracks Backscratcher with a big elbow.

Backscratcher tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Kruger wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Backscratcher wants to control but Kruger is having none of it.

Kruger fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
