Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mario Do Armario (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reizander Villarauta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mario Do Armario!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Reizander Villarauta!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Felipe Paraventi and Leandro Rodrigues.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Do Armario.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Villarauta wants to control but Do Armario postures up.

Do Armario is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Villarauta is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Do Armario wants to control but Villarauta is keeping him busy.

Do Armario working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Do Armario is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Villarauta will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Villarauta is trying to control Do Armario's posture but Do Armario avoids it.

Villarauta is looking to regain half guard here but Do Armario keeps moving and retains side control.
Do Armario trying to control the action but Villarauta is working from the bottom.

Do Armario is trying to get an arm triangle but Villarauta is defending well.
Villarauta is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Do Armario off and has taken his back!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Villarauta throwing wild punches that miss their target.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Do Armario avoids the strikes from Villarauta.
Villarauta struggling to land strikes to the head as Do Armario covers up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Villarauta is throwing shots to the body but Do Armario manages to wriggle free. Villarauta pounces on him again and ends up in Do Armario's guard.

Do Armario looking to hit a scissor sweep but Villarauta is one step ahead there.
Villarauta trying to control but Do Armario is working from the bottom.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Villarauta trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Do Armario manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
Villarauta wants to sweep here but Do Armario controlling him for the moment.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Villarauta can do anything to dispel that myth.

Do Armario drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Villarauta manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Do Armario has Villarauta in his guard.
Villarauta really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Do Armario. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Do Armario is working an open guard so Villarauta takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Do Armario changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Villarauta tries to avoid it but Do Armario manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Villarauta to the ground. Villarauta escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Do Armario takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Do Armario takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Villarauta digs a good hook to Do Armario's body.
Nice shot lands for Villarauta.
Reizander Villarauta seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Villarauta keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
A left lands for Villarauta.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Reizander Villarauta dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


and Villarauta counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Do Armario! He's just covering up as Villarauta starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Reizander Villarauta!
