Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bernardo Bernardo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gerard Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scott has chosen Live Your Life as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bernardo Bernardo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gerard Scott! The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Scott tries to keep at a distance but Bernardo has taken the fight into the clinch. Bernardo drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Scott gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Bernardo is looking to take this one to the mat. Scott tries to break the clinch but Bernardo is controlling the position. Scott working some nice short punches in the clinch. Scott is trying to push Bernardo away but Bernardo has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Bernardo is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Scott is defending well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bernardo Bernardo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Scott prevents a takedown attempt there.
Bernardo wants a takedown but no success here.
Scott is trying to break the clinch but Bernardo is controlling him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Scott is trying to push Bernardo away but Bernardo has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Bernardo is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Bernardo is working for takedown but Scott is calmly controlling the position for now. Scott wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Bernardo is trying to drag Scott to the mat but Scott just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Scott pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Bernardo pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bernardo doesn't succeed with the takedown letting Scott counter with a right hand. Gerard Scott is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Scott gets a clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bernardo drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Scott gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Scott breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Scott gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Bernardo has Scott pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Scott manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Scott is defending well against a takedown attempt. Bernardo tries to score a body lock takedown but Scott shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Scott breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Scott is looking to score with low kicks. Scott tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bernardo swats him away and circles back towards the center. Scott tries to clinch but Bernardo is having none of it. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Scott buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Scott moves in looking to clinch but Bernardo pushes him off. Scott has Bernardo up against the cage in a clinch.
Scott breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. No joy there for Scott, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Scott has taken the fight to the clinch.
Scott is looking to break free of the clinch but Bernardo has double underhooks. Scott prevents the takedown attempt.
A frustrated look appears on Scott's face as he tries to break the clinch. Bernardo wants a takedown.
Scott decides to pull guard. Scott is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bernardo trying to control but Scott is working from the bottom. Scott wants to get back to his feet but Bernardo is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Bernardo pushes down on Scott's leg and manages to get into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bernardo works his way into side control. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bernardo controlling the position from side mount. Scott is not content to let Bernardo control the position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gerard Scott dominated that round. That's time! Bernardo's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Scott is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Scott tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bernardo paws at him with a jab and circles away. Scott moves into the clinch successfully.
Bernardo is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Bernardo changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Scott fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Scott throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Scott tries to close the distance and clinch but Bernardo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Scott waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Bernardo. Scott drives through and clinches with Bernardo against the cage.
Scott lands a nice uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Scott jumps guard.
Bernardo trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Scott wants to get back to his feet but Bernardo is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Scott really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bernardo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Bernardo pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Scott is keeping the position for now. Scott keeping moving, preventing Bernardo from controlling successfully. Scott wants to stand but Bernardo is controlling the position. Bernardo slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Bernardo wants to lay and pray for a moment but Scott keeps working. Scott is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Bernardo is controlling him well. Bernardo has hold of Scott's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Scott seems comfortable defending it but Bernardo has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Scott is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Scott is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Bernardo couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Bernardo Bernardo! Bernardo Bernardo decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
