Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ole Solseng (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Solseng might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Iron Horse - Hero of the Day. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Smith misses with a two punch combination.
No joy there for Smith, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Smith gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

It looks like Paul Smith has been cut.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Solseng lands a left hand.
Solseng scores with a shot to the side of Smith's head.
Smith can't break the clinch.
Smith looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Solseng digs a right hand into Smith's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Smith's gas tank.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Solseng lands with a left to the head.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Solseng creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Solseng lands a big right hand that drops Smith! The killer instinct kicks in and Solseng finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Solseng!
