Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bob Fitzwater (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Knox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fitzwater comes to the cage accompanied by follow by Breakingbenjamin . Knox has chosen The Exploited- Beat The Bastards as his entrance music. Bob Fitzwater had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 157.7lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Bob Fitzwater could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Johnny Knox's chin.

The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Eddie Farnsworth and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good work by Knox as he checks the leg kick.
Fitzwater looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Knox moves into range and clinches up with Fitzwater.

Knox has Fitzwater pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Fitzwater manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Fitzwater is fighting off a takedown attempt but Knox is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Fitzwater to the mat. Fitzwater regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Fitzwater wants to sweep but no luck.

Knox postures up in Fitzwater's guard and throws a big left but Fitzwater blocks it.

Knox is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Knox postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Fitzwater looks a forlorn figure.
Oh Fitzwater is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Knox lands a heavy elbow.
Knox has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Knox loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Fitzwater scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Knox land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Knox stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Johnny Knox!
