Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Triple Hhh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johan Gunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Triple Hhh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Johan Gunter!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Konstantin Menshow and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hhh throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
It looks like Johan Gunter has been cut.
Gunter rushes Hhh and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Gunter lands a right hand.
Gunter stalling against the cage.
Hhh misses with a punch to the body.
Hhh is fighting off a takedown attempt but Gunter is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Hhh to the mat. Hhh regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Hhh wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Gunter is now in half guard.

Gunter passes into side control, despite Hhh's attempt to control the position.
Hhh tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Gunter wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Let's hope that Gunter has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Johan Gunter wasn't active enough on the ground.
A chopping leg kick lands by Hhh.
Hhh misses with a takedown
and Gunter counters by moving into the clinch.
Gunter lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Hhh or not.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Hhh tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Gunter avoids it.

Hhh jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Gunter walks away with a smile on his face. Hhh gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Triple Hhh is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Gunter closes the distance and clinches.
Hhh fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Triple Hhh. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Hhh wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Gunter gets through Hhh's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Hhh tries for a takedown. No joy.

Gunter is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gunter has his hands clasped together around Hhh's back. He's all about the action.
Hhh is trying to control the action in half guard but Gunter is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Gunter kicks off Hhh and gets to his feet.
Gunter misses with a series of wild punches.

and Gunter counters with a takedown into side control.
Gunter blocks the strikes from Hhh.
You can see the frustration on Hhh's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Hhh is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Gunter to keep the fight standing.
Gunter has Hhh pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Gunter pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Hhh tumbling to the mat - Gunter dives into Hhh's guard.
Hhh looking to hit a scissor sweep but Gunter is one step ahead there.
Gunter won't allow Hhh to get back to his feet.

Gunter must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Hhh throws a right hand that Gunter ducks under and follows up with a left that Gunter also avoids with ease.

and Gunter counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Hhh's guard now.
Hhh is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Gunter is aware though and is defending well.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Gunter shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
