Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fighter Killeer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris John Aroncillo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Chris John Aroncillo!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Winston Howard and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aroncillo looks to land a combination. Killeer sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Aroncillo fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Killeer avoids it really well and circles away.
Killeer throws a push kick but Aroncillo slaps the foot to one side.
Killeer really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Aroncillo shoots in and drives through. Killeer sprawls well.
A jab from Killeer finds it's way through Aroncillo's defenses.
Aroncillo fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Fighter Killeer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chris John Aroncillo.

Killeer gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Killeer is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Aroncillo is just riding it out for now. Killeer eventually gives up the hold.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Killeer is taking a breather. Aroncillo says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Aroncillo fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Aroncillo closes this distance looking for a takedown but Killeer circles away.

Killeer looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Aroncillo!
Aroncillo is desperately trying to improve his position but Killeer has a good base and remains in mount.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Aroncillo is trying to remain composed but Killeer is hammering down strikes to the side of his head.

Killeer throws a push kick but Aroncillo slaps the foot to one side.
Killeer fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Aroncillo checks it well.
Fighter Killeer is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Aroncillo tries to clinch but fails miserably

so Killeer counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Aroncillo tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Aroncillo keeping moving, preventing Killeer from controlling successfully.
Killeer working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Killeer trying to control the position from guard on top but Aroncillo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Killeer got a little sloppy there for a moment and Aroncillo has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Killeer has managed to get both his arms back between Aroncillo's legs - danger averted.

Killeer seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Aroncillo wants to get back to his feet but Killeer passes into half guard.

Killeer postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Aroncillo looks a forlorn figure.

Aroncillo is in a horrible position here. Killeer smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Killeer takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Killeer's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Killeer is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Aroncillo to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Aroncillo shrugs it off.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Killeer cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Killeer feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Killeer tries to close the distance and clinch up but Aroncillo swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Aroncillo wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Aroncillo looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Killeer throws a wild body kick that Aroncillo sees coming a mile off.
Killeer tries to close the distance and clinch but Aroncillo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Aroncillo rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Killeer moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Aroncillo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Killeer's waist but Killeer gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Aroncillo off to one side.
Killeer shoots in for a takedown but Aroncillo shows good takedown defense.
Killeer is looking to clinch.
Killeer shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Aroncillo as he avoids it easily.
Fighter Killeer is winning the standup battle so far.
Killeer throws a sloppy head kick and Aroncillo moves out of range easily.

Aroncillo stuffs the takedown attempt from Killeer. Killeer gets slowly back to his feet.
Aroncillo tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Killeer manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Aroncillo thuds his right hand into Killeer's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Aroncillo tries to close the distance and clinch but Killeer swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Aroncillo is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Aroncillo shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Killeer sprawls well. Killeer wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Aroncillo gets slowly back to his feet.
