Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Tim Key!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Key jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Puska throws a head kick that misses.
Puska stuns Key with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Puska fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Key swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Puska throws a hook but Key avoids it easily.
Key misses with a hook. Puska ducked under it nicely.

Key tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Puska paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Key takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
A looping hook to the body misses from Puska. Key does a little dance to reset his feet.
Key bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Puska looks to land a body kick but Key moved away.

Key pushes Puska up against the cage in a clinch.
Key tries a body shot but Puska blocks it.
Puska lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Puska fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Key manages to avoid it.
Puska uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Key.

Key tries to clinch but Puska is having none of it.
Key moves in looking to clinch but Puska pushes him off.

Puska fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Key sprawls well initially but Puska persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Puska seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Key does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Puska is working for a kimura but Key is defending it quite comfortably.
Puska wants to take a breather but Key is having none of it.

Puska seems to be looking for submissions.
Puska prevents Key from improving his position.

Puska is working for a submission of some sort.
Key is trying to stand up here but Puska is controlling him well.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Puska is keen to just control but Key is a slippery customer.
Key wants to improve his position but Puska is controlling well.

Puska is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Puska is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Key doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Puska.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Key is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Puska wants to control the pace but Key is squirming around nicely.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Puska pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Key scores with a crisp jab that stopped Puska in his tracks.

Key uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Puska.
Puska throws a shot to the body.
Puska feints a jab promting Key to slip. Puska then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Key slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Puska misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Key.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Puska.
Key can't do much from the bottom here.
Mike Puska overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Puska working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Key is looking for a sweep.
Key struggling a bit here.

Puska has an Americana. Key didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Puska is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Puska hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Mike Puska!
Mike Puska opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
