PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Allan Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Matrix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Green comes to the cage accompanied by Here Comes The Boom - Nelly. John Matrix told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matrix loads up on a big right hand but Green slips the punch.

Green forces Matrix back against the cage and clinches.
Matrix is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Green tries to break the clinch but Matrix is controlling the position.

Green's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

After the fight, Allan Green was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
