Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Edmund Queensberry!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Sam Margolis and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Queensberry will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Queensberry lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Bastard throws a series of punches but Queensberry avoids them all with ease.
Bastard misses with a wild combination.
Edmund Queensberry seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Queensberry scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.


It looks like Big Bastard has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bastard on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Sloppy strikes from Bastard. Those never looked like landing.

Bastard shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Bastard was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Bastard misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Big Bastard.
The fighters circle momentarily. Queensberry darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Bastard tries for a takedown but Queensberry sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Bastard.

Oooooh!!! Queensberry has knocked Bastard down with a huge combo! Queensberry steps away and waves a wobbly Bastard back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Bastard takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Bastard tries to clinch but Queensberry is having none of it.
Queensberry throws a head kick but Bastard moves out of range.
Queensberry tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Bastard is rocked!
Edmund Queensberry is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Bastard shoots in but Queensberry avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Bastard avoids a punch combination nicely.

and Queensberry cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Queensberry cracks Bastard with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
No joy there for Queensberry, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bastard is defended easily by Queensberry.
Queensberry cracks Bastard with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Queensberry throws a big shot that misses.
Queensberry jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Queensberry swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Bastard shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Bastard was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Bastard really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Queensberry wants to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Bastard is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Queensberry has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Bastard has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Queensberry finds it's way round the side to connect with Bastard's head.

Queensberry swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Queensberry lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bastard circles away quickly and effectively.

Big Bastard is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Queensberry fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Bastard has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Queensberry lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Bastard closes the distance and clinches up with Queensberry, looking for a takedown. Bastard pushes Queensberry against the cage but Queensberry circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Queensberry moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Queensberry fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Bastard.
Queensberry tests Bastard's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Bastard is looking to clinch but Queensberry is avoiding it.
Queensberry connects with a nice looking jab.
Oh Bastard is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bastard walks into a left hand.
Bastard takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Queensberry throws a lazy right hand but Bastard sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Queensberry connects with a leg kick. Bastard looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Bastard gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Queensberry gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:49 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Edmund Queensberry!
Edmund Queensberry very nearly forgot to thank Fossington & Blythe: Gentlemen's Fight Attire amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
