The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ratliff tries a head kick but it misses.
Mcbride tries for a takedown but Ratliff circles away easily
enabling Ratliff to counter with a crisp jab.
Mcbride on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Simon Mcbride seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ratliff scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Mcbride shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Mcbride takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
