The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hamadani has Johnson up against the cage in a clinch.
Hamadani can't find room to land a body shot as Johnson controls the action.
Hamadani on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Johnson tries to pull guard but Hamadani forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Johnson tries to score a body lock takedown but Hamadani shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Hamadani fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Hamadani throws a knee to the head but misses.

Johnson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Hamadani has taken the fight to the clinch.
Hamadani can't get the takedown.
Johnson throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Johnson avoids the elbow strike from Hamadani, against the cage.
Hamadani blocks an elbow strike from Johnson.

Johnson has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Hamadani is trying to keep an underhook but Johnson manages to get the takedown into half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Hamadani has his hands clasped together around Johnson's back. He's all about the action.

Johnson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hamadani. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Johnson thows a huge punch but Hamadani dodges it nicely.

Hamadani wants to sweep here but Johnson controlling him for the moment.

Hamadani looking for a triangle here. Johnson is fighting it but it looks tight! Hamadani pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Johnson is tapping out - this one is all over!
