Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jacob Bryan Batungbakal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Thorpe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thorpe has chosen Limelight by Rush as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yuuki Gou and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thorpe dips to his left and cracks Batungbakal with an uppercut!
Thorpe blocks a head kick by Batungbakal.
Thorpe throws the kick towards the body but Batungbakal avoids it.
Batungbakal fails to land with a series of punches.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Batungbakal crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Thorpe - the referee stops the clock and Batungbakal gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Thorpe. Batungbakal manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Batungbakal's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Thorpe connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Batungbakal scrambles back to his feet.
A punch combination from Thorpe misses.
Batungbakal walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Thorpe misses with a kick to the body.
Thorpe scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Batungbakal doesn't seem bothered though.
Batungbakal is breathing heavily.
Thorpe cracks Batungbakal's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Batungbakal slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Thorpe can do further damage! This one is done, son!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Scott Thorpe!
