Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Daryl Palumbo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yoon Chung Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Palumbo comes to the cage accompanied by A Day To Remember- Violence. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Daryl Palumbo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yoon Chung Kim!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palumbo blocks a head kick by Kim.
Kim throws a head kick but Palumbo moves out of range.
Kim tries to bum rush Palumbo with a series of wild strikes but Palumbo uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Kim scores with a one two! Palumbo had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Kim lands a head shot.
Palumbo takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Palumbo throws a right and a left that both miss.
Palumbo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kim circles away quickly and effectively.
Kim tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Kim shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Palumbo as he jumps to the side.
Palumbo lands a jab-cross combination.
It looks like Yoon Chung Kim has been cut.
Kim avoids a punch combination nicely.
No joy there for Palumbo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Palumbo throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Kim crashing down! Kim tries to stagger back to his feet but Palumbo just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Kim asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Daryl Palumbo!
Jumping up and down and very excited, Daryl Palumbo waved his t-shirt featuring Global Empire MMA Gear's logo in front of the cameras.
