Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mike Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mattias Ia Eklundh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tyson has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Eklundh uses from the top position.

Tyson drops back, looking for a kneebar! Eklundh looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Eklundh looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Eklundh !

Tyson tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Eklundh wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mike Tyson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Tyson is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

Tyson ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Tyson no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Tyson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Eklundh is working away from the top position though.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Mattias Ia Eklundh wasn't active enough on the ground.

Eklundh tries to move into range but Tyson moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!



Tyson takes the fight into the clinch.

Eklundh tries to stand and escape but Tyson is controlling the position.
Tyson tries to roll over but Eklundh keeps him under control.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Tyson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Eklundh takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Tyson drives through and clinches with Eklundh against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tyson has Eklundh pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Eklundh manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Tyson decides to pull guard.
Eklundh wants to get up but he can't break Tyson's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Eklundh takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Eklundh wants to control from the top but Tyson keeps moving.
Eklundh has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Tyson is proving hard to escape from.

Tyson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Tyson tries to get out of the position.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Tyson throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Eklundh escapes and throws Tyson's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Well Tyson has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
