The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyler throws a sloppy head kick and Lesnar moves out of range easily.
Tyler tries to clinch but Lesnar is having none of it.
Tyler shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Lesnar is trying to defend but Tyler finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tyler wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Tyler trying to control the position but instead, Lesnar has worked for underhooks and has pushed Tyler into the cage.
Tyler can't seem to implement his control oriented gameplan at the moment. That's no bad thing of course, for those of us who want to see a good fight.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lesnar drops down looking for an ankle pick but Tyler pulls his leg out and moves away.
Tyler looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Brock Lesnar will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Lesnar shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tyler but Tyler pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Lesnar fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Tyler gets a double leg takedown into Lesnar's guard.
Tyler decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Lesnar, up you get!

Tyler tries to bum rush Lesnar with a series of wild strikes but Lesnar uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Lesnar looks to land a left hand but Tyler moved out of range nicely.
Lesnar lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Lesnar.
Tyler moves in looking to clinch but Lesnar pushes him off.
