Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Simon Bruce (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ira Stein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bruce comes to the cage accompanied by I want it all. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Simon Bruce! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ira Stein! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Vladimir Khabensky and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bruce scores with a hook. Stein walks into a straight right hand from Bruce. Bruce shoots in and drives through. Stein sprawls well. Stein blocks a jab. Bruce fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Stein sprawls well initially but Bruce persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Bruce scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Bruce thows a huge punch but Stein dodges it nicely.
Stein tries to roll over but Bruce keeps him under control. Stein avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Bruce. Stein keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Stein is staying active underneath Bruce, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Stein blocking the ground and pound attempt from Bruce. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bruce trying to control the action but Stein is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stein regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Bruce. Bruce controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Bruce throwing strikes from guard but Stein blocks nicely. Stein utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Bruce chips away with some ground and pound. Stein preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Stein working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Bruce. Bruce wants to control from the top but Stein keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bruce postures up in Stein's guard and throws a big left but Stein blocks it. Stein working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Bruce. Bruce thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stein tries to land a sweep but no joy. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bruce accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Bruce trying to control the position from guard on top but Stein is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bruce missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bruce loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Stein tries to land a sweep but no joy. Bruce wants to control from the top but Stein keeps moving. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bruce throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Stein lands a really nice looking cross but Bruce seems unphased.

Stein swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. A big left from Stein misses. A nice combination there by Bruce.

Bruce is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Bruce has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Bruce content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Stein can do anything to dispel that myth. Bruce thows a huge punch but Stein dodges it nicely.

and Bruce counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Stein throws the left hand but Bruce avoids the punch easily. Bruce scores with the left hand. Stein knows he should have avoided that one. Stein throws a body kick that misses. A head kick misses from Bruce. Stein throws a poor cross that misses
and Bruce counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Stein loads up on a big right hand but Bruce slips the punch. Stein takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Bruce throws a body punch but Stein moves out of range. Bruce will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Stein is looking for a triangle but Bruce pushes his legs off easily.
