Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cleveland Crosby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rock Bass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Cleveland Crosby! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rock Bass! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Bruno Hogan and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crosby doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. A combination from Crosby does no damage. Crosby throws a shot to the body.
Crosby tries to clinch but Bass moves out of range. Bass closes the distance and lands a one-two. The fight stays on the outside here - Crosby looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Crosby tries to bum rush Bass with a series of wild strikes but Bass uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Crosby shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Crosby is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bass can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bass keeping full guard, as Crosby tries to pass. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Crosby slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Crosby trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crosby showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Bass keeping full guard, as Crosby tries to pass.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Crosby controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Bass wants to stand but Crosby is controlling the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cleveland Crosby dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Crosby wants to clinch up but Bass keeps it at a distance. Bass jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Crosby drives through with a takedown into guard. Bass keeping moving, preventing Crosby from controlling successfully. Bass pulls Crosby in close to prevent any damage. Bass not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crosby works a leg free and moves into half guard. Crosby is controlling the pace.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Crosby working over Bass with some ground and pound. Bass looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Crosby is taking a breather. Bass says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crosby has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Cleveland Crosby just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Crosby forces Bass back against the cage and clinches. Crosby lands with a right to the head. Crosby breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Crosby throws a combination that misses and Bass makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Crosby fails with an attempt to clinch.
Bass throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Crosby tries to clinch up and Bass counters with a lovely straight right hand! Crosby tries to clinch but Bass is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cleveland Crosby dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Crosby shoots in and drives through. Bass sprawls well. Bass slips a jab and a cross from Crosby.
Crosby clinches up with Bass and pushes him back against the cage. Bass is pressed up against the cage. Crosby has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Bass down to the mat. Bass avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Bass throws a combination that misses and Crosby counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Crosby ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Crosby no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Crosby looking to control.
Crosby pulls Bass in close to prevent any damage. Bass must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Crosby is pulling down on Bass's head. It's preventing any offense from Bass, at least for the moment. Crosby is trying to keep Bass in close.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crosby trying to control the position here. Crosby looking for a sweep. Not yet Crosby, not yet.

And that's the end of the fight! Cleveland Crosby showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Crosby, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
