Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Baba Singh!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, James Atkins and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Singh on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Singh fails to land the takedown.
King defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Singh.

King gets a clinch.
King wants a takedown.
King is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
A short body shot lands from King as the two fighters clinch.
King throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Singhs head.

Singh manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Singh is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst King is controlling him.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Singh holds on and takes a little breather.

Singh is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and King defends well.
Singh manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. King manages to get himself to full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Singh missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Singh preventing the sweep.
Singh lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Singh controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

King is working an open guard so Singh takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

King gets a clinch.
King stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Singh fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Andre King has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Baba Singh.
King working some nice short punches in the clinch.

King pulls Singh into guard.
Singh lands a couple of elbows.
King wants to get back to his feet but Singh is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Singh controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Let's hope that Singh has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Singh scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
King has momentary wrist control but Singh slips an elbow through the middle.
Singh's corner is telling him to maintain position.
King looking to hit a scissor sweep but Singh is one step ahead there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
King working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Singh.
Singh stops King from standing up.
Singh is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
King is looking to stand up but Singh isn't so interested in that idea.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Baba Singh was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Singh closes the distance but King moves to the side
and King counters with a body kick that stops Singh in his tracks momentarily.
King misses with a kick to the body.
Singh will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Singh looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? King is fending him off so far but Singh persists. Nope, King circles away and we're back to standing.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Singh is defended easily by King.
King throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Singh's head.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
King works Singh's body with a nice hook.
Baba Singh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
King with a nice cross.

Singh gets a takedown into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
King wants to control but Singh passes into side.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Singh working away.
Singh lands a few punches from side control.
King seems a little lost for a moment, as Singh dominates the positioning.
Singh is working King over with some ground and pound from side control.
King on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if King tries to get out of the position.
Singh is chipping away with strikes.
King is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Singh is controlling him well.
Singh lands a nice forearm strike.

Singh is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but King is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Singh has hold of King's arm. He's looking for a kimura. King seems comfortable defending it but Singh has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! King is real pain and he's forced to tap out! King is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Singh couldn't care less - he's delighted!
