Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shorty Gonzalez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Singh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harry Singh is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Shorty Gonzalez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Harry Singh! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Richard Clark and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gonzalez misses with a hook. Gonzalez misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Gonzalez fails with an attempt to clinch.
Singh tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Gonzalez swivels and escapes. Gonzalez looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Singh has Gonzalez up against the cage in a clinch.
Gonzalez is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Gonzalez lands a nice elbow.
It looks like Harry Singh has been cut. Gonzalez wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Singh has him pressed against the cage. Singh turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Singh controls the position. Let's hope that Singh has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Harry Singh has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Singh shoots for a double leg takedown but Gonzalez sprawls well. He's pushed Singh's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Gonzalez lands with a thumping leg kick.
Singh tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gonzalez paws at him with a jab and circles away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Singh swats away the attempt to clinch by Gonzalez. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Singh is defended easily by Gonzalez. Shorty Gonzalez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Harry Singh. Gonzalez keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Gonzalez tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Gonzalez misses with a low kick. Gonzalez throws a leg kick that misses. Gonzalez looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Singh's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Gonzalez connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Singh scrambles back to his feet. Gonzalez ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Gonzalez no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Singh controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Harry Singh was stalling too much, according to the referee. Singh blocks a low kick nicely. Singh tries to clinch up but Gonzalez circles away and keeps his distance. Gonzalez tries to close the distance and clinch up but Singh swats him away and circles back towards the center. Gonzalez doesn't manage to clinch there - Singh circles away.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Gonzalez pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Singh throws a sloppy head kick and Gonzalez moves out of range easily. Singh will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Gonzalez throws a low kick, looking for Singh's leg but Singh calmly moves out of range. Singh stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Gonzalez. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Gonzalez tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Gonzalez takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Singh lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Gonzalez has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Gonzalez and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Gonzalez tries to clinch there but Singh circles away.
Gonzalez throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Shorty Gonzalez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gonzalez thumps Singh with a low kick. Gonzalez misses with a low kick. Gonzalez is breathing heavily. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Singh. Singh tries to clinch but Gonzalez moves out of range. Gonzalez slaps away a takedown attempt from Singh, before circling back to the center of the mat. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Shorty Gonzalez will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Harry Singh's cut. That's time! Gonzalez's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Gonzalez goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Singh fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Gonzalez avoids it really well and circles away. Harry Singh is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Gonzalez.
Gonzalez lands a nice looking body kick. This has been an exciting period of action! Singh swats away the attempt to clinch by Gonzalez. Singh shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Gonzalez defends it nicely. Gonzalez fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Singh is breathing heavily. A decent looking cross lands there for Gonzalez. Gonzalez connects with a high kick.

Gonzalez drops Singh with a big left hand and mounts him. Singh is in big trouble!
Singh is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Gonzalez looking to ground and pound but Singh is blocking nicely. Singh is still in real trouble! Can Gonzalez finish him? We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Singh can do anything to dispel that myth. Gonzalez throwing strikes here but Singh is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Gonzalez throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Singh seems to have recovered his senses. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Singh blocking the ground and pound. Singh is in all sorts of trouble here.
Gonzalez goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Singh turns into him and now he's in Gonzalez's guard.
Singh throws a strike but Gonzalez rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gonzalez passes into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Singh tries to get to full guard but Gonzalez has control of the leg. Singh holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Gonzalez throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Singh avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Gonzalez. Singh tries to roll over but Gonzalez keeps him under control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Singh keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Gonzalez missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Singh wants to get back to full guard. Singh keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Gonzalez not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Gonzalez with the ground and pound but Singh uses the opportunity to regain guard. Gonzalez decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Gonzalez tries to bum rush Singh with a series of wild strikes but Singh uses good footwork to avoid the assault. A clash of legs there as Singh blocks the low kick.

That's going to take a lot out of Harry Singh. Singh shoots in for a takedown but Gonzalez shows good takedown defense. Gonzalez closes the distance and clinches. Gonzalez has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Singh after a bit of a struggle. Gonzalez wants a takedown but no success here.
Singh keeps control of Gonzalez as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Singh turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Singh manages to end up in side control. Gonzalez is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Singh has just dragged him back down to the mat. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Singh wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Gonzalez, who protects the arm well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Shorty Gonzalez dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Harry Singh's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Singh checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Singh moves out of range of the body kick. Shorty Gonzalez is winning the standup battle so far. Gonzalez throws a hook but Singh avoids it easily. Gonzalez throws a solid leg kick but Singh takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Gonzalez. Singh looks for a takedown but Gonzalez sprawls well. Gonzalez looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Singh keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Gonzalez. Gonzalez fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Singh has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Gonzalez tries to clinch but Singh moves out of range. Gonzalez scores with a leg kick.

That's one minute gone in the round. Gonzalez is trying to pull guard but Singh has him pressed against the cage. Gonzalez is trying to break the clinch but Singh is controlling him. Gonzalez tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Singh smiles and moves away.
Gonzalez walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Singh checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Singh changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gonzalez tries to avoid it but Singh manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gonzalez to the ground. Gonzalez escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Gonzalez throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Some bone on bone action there as Singh checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Singh shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Gonzalez's guard. Singh won't allow Gonzalez to get back to his feet. Singh is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Singh. Gonzalez feints and then cracks Singh's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Singh down. Gonzalez connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. The fighters circle momentarily. Gonzalez darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Sloppy strikes from Gonzalez. Those never looked like landing. Singh takes the fight into the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Singh is trying to force a seperation but Gonzalez has the dominant position. Gonzalez creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Singh is trying to break free. Singh blocks an elbow strike. Gonzalez looks to throw an elbow but misses. The referee is keeping an eye on Singh - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Gonzalez lands an elbow inside that Singh shrugs off. Gonzalez breaks from the clinch.
Gonzalez fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Singh is out of range. Gonzalez wants to clinch and Singh counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Singh seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Shorty Gonzalez is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

And that's the end of the fight! Shorty Gonzalez showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Gonzalez, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
