Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Marco Histavaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fernando Sucre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sucre comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Sobota-tanczy kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marco Histavaki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Fernando Sucre!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Nard Betker and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sucre wants to clinch.
Histavaki looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Histavaki has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Sucre after a bit of a struggle.

Histavaki drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Sucre gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Sucre looks like he's trying to stand up.

Histavaki is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Histavaki is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Fernando Sucre dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Marco Histavaki's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Histavaki looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Sucre!
Sucre is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Histavaki looking to control but Sucre is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Sucre tries to buck Histavaki off but he can't manage it.
Sucre really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Histavaki. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Histavaki is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Sucre to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Sucre shrugs it off.
Sucre wants to try and get back to his feet.

Histavaki wants to finish this one by submission but Sucre is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Histavaki.

Sucre really wants to buck Histavaki off and get back to his feet.
Marco Histavaki overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Histavaki closes the distance and clinches up with Sucre, looking for a takedown. Histavaki pushes Sucre against the cage but Sucre circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Fernando Sucre seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Sucre pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Histavaki back to the cage. Sucre follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Histavaki is looking to take a break and control but Sucre is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Histavaki is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Sucre is trying to escape and Histavaki transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Sucre is forced to tap! Nice work there by Histavaki! Very nice indeed!
