Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kalle Fischa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Hogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kalle Fischa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bruce Hogan! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hogan avoids the body shot from Fischa.
Fischa shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Hogan is trying to defend but Fischa finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Hogan is trying to stand.
Fischa controlling the action here. Hogan tries to kick Fischa off but Fischa keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Fischa controlling the action here. Hogan is trying to stand.
Hogan pushes Fischa off but Fischa dives into side control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hogan can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hogan is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Fischa is controlling him well. Fischa is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Hogan's shoulder. That is not cool. Fischa working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Hogan is trying to escape and get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fischa decides to take the fight back to the feet. Fischa takes a jab right on the kisser.
Fischa fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Hogan to the ground. Fischa is now in Hogan's guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hogan wants to stand and escape but Fischa is having none of it. Fischa engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Fischa won't allow Hogan to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fischa wants to pass the guard but Hogan is keeping the position. Fischa won't allow Hogan to get back to his feet. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Hogan swinging wildly here.
Hogan misses with a double jab
and Fischa counters with a right hand to the body. Hogan looks winded!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fischa shoots in for a takedown but Hogan shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Fischa closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hogan circles away. Fischa avoids a lazy jab quite easily. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Fischa. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kalle Fischa. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hogan scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Hogan pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Fischa back to the cage. Hogan follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Hogan misses with a double jab.
Fischa closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hogan circles away. Hogan darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Hogan scores with a hook. Hogan fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Hogan connects with the punch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hogan misses with an uppercut
and Fischa counters with a body kick. Hogan throws a right and a left that Fischa avoids nicely. Hogan thows a body shot but no joy. Fischa darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hogan tries to kick Fischa off but Fischa keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Fischa content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Fischa stands up and beckons Hogan to join him on the feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Kalle Fischa will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Hogan swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Fischa counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Fischa dodges the punch combination from Hogan.
Bruce Hogan seems to be getting the better of the standup. Hogan ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Hogan throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Hogan gets caught flat footed, as Fischa shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Fischa wants to control from the top but Hogan keeps moving. Fischa prevents Hogan from getting back to his feet. Fischa controls from within his opponent's guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Hogan is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Fischa is controlling him.

We're going to have a standup here because Kalle Fischa wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Hogan throws a right and a left that both miss. Fischa slips under a jab from Hogan. Bruce Hogan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hogan connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Both fighters circling a little - Hogan finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Fischa misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Hogan moves out of range of the body kick from Fischa.
Fischa wants to clinch up but Hogan keeps it at a distance. Fischa scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Hogan is trying to buck Fischa off.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Fischa wants to control but Hogan is keeping him busy. Hogan wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hogan throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Fischa shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Fischa prevents Hogan from getting back to his feet. Fischa stays in close to Hogan's body and controls the position. Hogan is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Fischa is controlling him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hogan being controlled here, momentarily. Fischa stops Hogan from standing up.
Kalle Fischa has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Hogan misses with the combination.
Fischa decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Fischa is stalling here. Hogan is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Fischa seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Hogan has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Fischa is trying to control Hogan's posture but Hogan avoids it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Kalle Fischa will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Fischa takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Fischa is looking to clinch. Hogan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Fischa avoids a punch combination nicely.
The crowd cheers as Hogan lands an impressive looking overhand right. Fischa doesn't seem phased though. Hogan throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Fischa. Hogan's corner calls for a 1-2. Hogan obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Fischa shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hogan pinned against the cage. Hogan gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Hogan lands a nice shot that snaps Fischa's head back.
A combination from Hogan does no damage. Donk. Hogan catches Fischa right on the button with a cross. Hogan should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Hogan takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fischa keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Hogan. Hogan is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Fischa connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Hogan momentarily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Fischa looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Hogan lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Fischa fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Hogan connects with a good right hand that stumbles Fischa. Fischa circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Fischa shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hogan as he avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kalle Fischa. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fischa tries to close the distance and clinch but Hogan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Hogan might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hogan lands a jab to the nose. Fischa fails with a takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hogan throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Fischa's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Hogan dives in looking to finish as Fischa flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Hogan's strikes! Hogan is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Fischa's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Fischa was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:06 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bruce Hogan!
