Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cpl. Sam Fender (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cristiano Nascimento (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sam Fender and Cristiano Nascimento. Fender comes into the arena with The Art of War blaring out of the sound system. Cpl. Sam Fender has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Cristiano Nascimento!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Winston Howard and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fender misses with a body shot.
Nascimento blocks the body kick.
Nascimento doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Nascimento throws a nice looking combination but Fender bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Fender.
Fender displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Nascimento throws out the jab.
A jab from Nascimento does it's job there.
Fender feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Nascimento's calf.
Nascimento's jab looks to have found its range, popping Fender under the eye.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nascimento throws a jab but it's blocked by Fender.

Fender is looking to land body kicks.
Cpl. Sam Fender seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fender slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Fender lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Nascimento throws a leg kick that is checked
and Fender counters with a body kick that stops Nascimento in his tracks momentarily.

A decent looking body kick lands there for Fender.
Fender misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Nascimento.
Fender lands with a straight right. Nascimento didn't see that one coming.
Fender chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Fender looks for the body kick but Nascimento saw that one coming.
Fender lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
It looks like Cristiano Nascimento has been cut.
Fender tries to land a front kick but Nascimento steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Fender turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Fender feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Nascimento's calf.
Fender scores with a jab to the body.
Fender with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Nascimento keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Nascimento throws a poor cross that misses
and Fender counters with an inside leg kick.
Nascimento looks to score with a jab to the body but Fender is just out of range.

Nascimento motions for Fender to come forward. Nascimento throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Fender fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Fender is looking to slow Nascimento down with leg kicks.
A slapping body kick lands there for Fender.
Nascimento's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Nascimento looks winded!
A big right from Nascimento misses.
Fender wants to slow Nascimento down by chopping away at his legs.
Fender connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Fender bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Nascimento's head.
Nascimento stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Fender.
Fender dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Nascimento. That did some damage!
Fender lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
The fighters circling - Nascimento throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Fender tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Fender scores with a push kick.
A solid leg kick lands there for Fender.
Fender pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Nascimento throws a jab when Fender was well out of range.
Fender connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Fender tries to clinch up but Nascimento circles away and keeps his distance.
Fender shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Nascimento as he jumps to the side.
Nascimento walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Fender lands a nice shot that snaps Nascimento's head back.
Nascimento is rocked!
Fender connects with a leg kick. Nascimento looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Nascimento is still on wobbly legs! Can Fender finish him?
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Fender engages and cracks Nascimento with a massive lead left hook - Nascimento tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Fender is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Cpl. Sam Fender!
Cpl. Sam Fender was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
