Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bako King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Starks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Starks has chosen Bring Da Ruckus as his entrance music. Tony Starks has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Bako King's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bako King!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tony Starks!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Skip Squint and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Starks is fending him off so far but King persists. Nope, Starks circles away and we're back to standing.
King fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
King fails with a takedown attempt.

Starks closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming King to the mat! King manages to get full guard.
Starks must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

King working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Starks doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Starks manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
King really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

King looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

King is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

King is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Starks defends well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Starks lands a couple of digs.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Starks trying to control but King is working from the bottom.

King has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Starks can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

King looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
King utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Starks is in close to King's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Starks got a little sloppy there for a moment and King has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Starks has managed to get both his arms back between King's legs - danger averted.
King will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Starks stands up over King, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Starks is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Starks is looking to work some ground and pound but King has wrist control.

Starks is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Starks is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but King has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Starks is looking to defend but King has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Starks! King pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Starks taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Bako King!
After the fight, Bako King was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
