Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mic Hael (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Ass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hael misses with a looping left.
Ass misses with a straight left.
Ass is looking to clinch but Hael is avoiding it.
Hael lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Hael throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Ass throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Ass moves out of range of the body kick from Hael.
A left and a right from Ass both land. Nice combination.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Jack Ass hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Ass gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Ass tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mic Hael dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Ass misses with a takedown attempt - Hael sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Hael ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Hael thumps Ass with a low kick.
Ass closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Ass loads up on a big right hand but Hael slips the punch.
Mic Hael is winning the standup battle so far.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Ass.
Ass walks into a straight right hand from Hael.
Hael feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Ass can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hael is looking to escape.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Ass changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hael tries to avoid it but Ass manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hael to the ground. Hael escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Mic Hael has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Ass.
Hael circles away from the clinch attempt.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Ass, as that shot connected.

Ass has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Hael is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
