Schvenko kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Amazing - Kanye West ft. Young Jeezy. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schvenko shoots in and gets a takedown into Graecus's guard.
Graecus lands with a heel strike from the guard.
Schvenko slips nicely into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Schvenko is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Graecus sees it coming and defends easily.
Schvenko is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Graecus is just riding it out for now. Schvenko eventually gives up the hold.
Graecus is trying to stand back up but Schvenko is controlling him
Schvenko tries to pass to full mount but Graecus defends it.
Graecus tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Schvenko is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Graecus still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Graecus has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!
