Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Myles Brooks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and tj Wash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Myles Brooks! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, tj Wash! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Donatello Bradman and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brooks fails with an attempt to clinch.
Wash throws a combination that misses and Brooks counters with a one-two to the body. A punch combination from Wash misses. Brooks shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Brooks trying to control the position from guard on top but Wash is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Brooks might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Brooks looking to pass the guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

and Brooks counters with a low kick, right behind Wash 's knee. Wash throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Brooks counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. A head kick misses from Brooks. Brooks shoots in looking for a takedown but Wash manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Brooks's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Wash throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Brooks. Brooks shoots for a double leg takedown but Wash sprawls well. He's pushed Brooks's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Myles Brooks. A momentary lapse in concentration from Wash enables Brooks to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Wash manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Brooks would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Brooks trying to control but Wash is working from the bottom. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

and Brooks decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Wash's guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. That was a close second round but I would say that Myles Brooks will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! And we move into the final round!

Brooks jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Wash is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Wash and Brooks has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brooks laying and praying for a moment but Wash takes advantage and regains half guard. Wash wants to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Wash regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Brooks. Brooks trying to control but Wash is working from the bottom. tj Wash has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Myles Brooks is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Wash is looking to sinch up a triangle. Brooks throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Wash's body to avoid the submission. Wash has instead reached around Brooks's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Wash arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
