The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hilkuri misses with a double jab.
Okami closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hilkuri circles away.
Hilkuri throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Okami.
Okami looks to land a right hand but Hilkuri moved out of range.
A head kick misses from Hilkuri.
Okami sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Hilkuri looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Okami lands a jab.
Hilkuri connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Okami bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hilkuri feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Okamis jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Okami works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Hilkuri stalks Okami and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Okami's face. Okami staggers backwards, shaken.
Hilkuri moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Hilkuri misses the shot to the body.
Okami scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

Hilkuri lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Hilkuri throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Horrible takedown by Okami or perhaps it was just good defense by Hilkuri which made him look bad.

Hilkuri clobbers Okami with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Hilkuri lands with a nice combination. Okami backs away looking to recover.
Hilkuri steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Okami.
Hilkuri tries to bum rush Okami with a series of wild strikes but Okami uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Hilkuri throws a series of punches but Okami avoids them all with ease.
Okami throws a right and a left that Hilkuri avoids nicely.
Okami scores with a punch to the head.

Okami misses with a wild body shot.
Hilkuri dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Hilkuri bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Okami misses with a hook. Hilkuri ducked under it nicely.
Hilkuri connects with a leg kick. Okami looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Okami throws the left hand but Hilkuri avoids the punch easily.
Hilkuri lands a jab to the head.
Hilkuri throws a right and a left that Okami avoids nicely.
Hilkuri tries a head kick but it misses.
Pentti Hilkuri seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Okami has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Hilkuri.
Hilkuri dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Okami. That did some damage!
Okami walks into a straight right hand from Hilkuri.

Okami is rocked!
BOOM! Hilkuri lands a beautiful left hook that drops Okami. Okami tries to recover but Hilkuri is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Okami lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
