Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Stubb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Pounder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stubb comes to the cage accompanied by Paper Scratcher. The crowd seem to be enjoying Pounder's choice of entrance music: People in Planes-Last Man Standing. Michael Stubb is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 24 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Michael Stubb! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
27 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jim Pounder! The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stubb fails with the takedown and Pounder counters with a straight right hand. Stubb misses with a takedown and Pounder counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Stubb's guard now. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Pounder controls from within his opponent's guard. Stubb wants to hit a switch here but Pounder passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Stubb there! Pounder controlling from the full mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. It looks like Pounder might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Stubb working to try and regain half guard.
Stubb is working hard here to advance position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pounder controlling from mount. Stubb is in all sorts of trouble here.
Pounder looking to control and managing it successfully. Stubb is trying desperately to improve position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stubb tries to improve his position but instead Pounder has taken his back! Stubb is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Pounder.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Stubb tries to break free.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stubb breaks Pounder's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Stubb pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Pounder is keeping the position for now. Stubb is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Pounder is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Pounder has escaped and now he's on top! Stubb working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Pounder has passed into half guard!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jim Pounder dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Stubb gets caught napping as Pounder dives in and scores a takedown. Stubb manages to retain guard. Stubb looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Pounder passes into side control.
Stubb seems a little lost for a moment, as Pounder dominates the positioning. Stubb is looking for a sweep. Pounder is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Stubb's shoulder. That is not cool.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stubb is looking to regain half guard here but Pounder keeps moving and retains side control. Pounder happy to just control the position for now. Stubb tries to improve position but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stubb is being controlled here. Stubb is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jim Pounder. Pounder connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Pounder lands a nice shot that snaps Stubb's head back.
Pounder moves into the clinch. Stubb tries to score a body lock takedown but Pounder shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Pounder escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Good standup being displayed there by Pounder as he connects with a hook.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pounder scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Stubb throws a solid leg kick but Pounder takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Stubb. Stubb with a lazy takedown attempt and Pounder counters with a left and a right that stings Stubb. Pounder bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Stubb manages to get back to half guard. Stubb looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Well, if Pounder is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jim Pounder showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Stubb closes the distance looking to clinch and Pounder cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Pounder lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Pounder lands a head shot. Stubb doesn't succeed with the takedown enabling Pounder to counter with a crisp jab. Pounder looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Stubb! Jim Pounder has got the better of the ground game so far. Pounder controls the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stubb is trying to improve his position. Pounder controlling from side mount. Stubb is looking for a sweep.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pounder taking a breather here. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Stubb is trying to get back to half guard. Pounder controls the position. Stubb is looking for a sweep.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Jim Pounder hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Stubb fails with the takedown and Pounder decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Stubb's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stubb looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Pounder has picked Stubb up and slammed him! Stubb can't keep hold of the triangle and Pounder manages to pass to side control! Both fighters are breathing heavily. Stubb being controlled for a moment. Stubb tries to get back to half guard but can't. Michael Stubb has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Pounder slows the pace down. Let's hope that Pounder has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stubb tries to improve position but can't. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Jim Pounder has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Stubb takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Pounder moves into the clinch.
And that's the end of the fight! Jim Pounder comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Pounder has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
