The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Butcher lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Ubeerem fails with a takedown attempt.
Ubeerem looks to land a body kick but Butcher moved away.
Ubeerem wants to clinch up but Butcher keeps it at a distance.
Butcher connects with a nice looking jab.
The fight stays on the outside here - Ubeerem looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Butcher scores with a one two! Ubeerem had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Alistar Ubeerem seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Butcher lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Ubeerem is rocked!
Butcher is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Butcher feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Ubeerem's calf.
Ubeerem is still on wobbly legs! Can Butcher finish him?
Butcher throws a nice outside leg kick.
Ubeerem has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Butcher.
Butcher lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Ubeerem up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Butcher from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Ubeerem's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
