Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Romeo Bellanca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mack Sphinx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bellanca's entrance music is Nightmare - Avenged Sevenfold. A fine choice. Romeo Bellanca has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Romeo Bellanca! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mack Sphinx! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Alyssa Summers and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bellanca takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Sphinx misses with a wild body shot. Bellanca shoots in and bounces Sphinx off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bellanca accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Sphinx looking for a sweep. Not yet Sphinx, not yet. Bellanca controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bellanca is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Bellanca is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Sphinx wants to get back to his feet but Bellanca is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bellanca missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Bellanca thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Bellanca is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bellanca trying to control but Sphinx is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Romeo Bellanca has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Bellanca is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sphinx. Bellanca ducks right into an uppercut from Sphinx. Romeo Bellanca seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bellanca throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Sphinx counters with a two punch combo. Nice body punch from Sphinx. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sphinx cracks Bellanca with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. No luck for Bellanca with that takedown attempt. Sphinx feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Bellanca crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Mack Sphinx! A relieved looking Mack Sphinx thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
