Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ring Dong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Leclerc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dong comes into the arena with Pantera-Walk blaring out of the sound system. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Brian Leclerc! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Felipe Paraventi and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dong shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Dong decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Dong is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Leclerc is just riding it out for now. Dong eventually gives up the hold. Leclerc wants to get back to full guard. Leclerc is in trouble now - Dong has advanced to mount! Leclerc tries to get back to half guard but can't. Leclerc has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Dong is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Leclerc defends it well. Dong is breathing heavily. Leclerc is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Dong pulls his head out easily. Leclerc really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dong. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Leclerc makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Leclerc. Leclerc tries to land a sweep but no joy. Leclerc throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

Ring Dong dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Dong looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Leclerc wants to sweep but no luck. Dong throwing strikes from guard but Leclerc blocks nicely. Leclerc throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Leclerc should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Dong missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Dong pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Leclerc is keeping the position for now. Leclerc trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Dong forces his way into half guard. Leclerc is trying to get back to full guard.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Leclerc bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Leclerc is chipping away with strikes.
Dong is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Leclerc off and has taken his back! Ring Dong overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Leclerc tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Dong here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Dong is working to isolate an arm here. It's a choreographed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Dong extends the arm and Leclerc is forced to tap!
